Rex v. Jobu McKenzie (Mr Cooper), alleged theft ; Rex v. John O’Connor (Mr Moure), alleged indecent assault ; Rex v. John Millett, alleged theft ; Rex v. William Newberry, alleged indecent assault (two charges) ; Rex v. Jessie Stewart (Mr Cooper), alleged concealment of birth and manslaughter ; Rex v. Thomas Schofield (Mr Cooper), alleged forging and uttering. CIVIL CASES. George Davey (Mr Kavanagb) v. James Marsch (Mr Spralt), claim for alleged seduction. To be heard before a jury of twelve. Leonard H. Mohale (Mr Guy) v. John Schwass (Mr Fiuherbert), claim 6s 6d, damages for alleged personal injuries. To be beard before a jury of four. C. E. Dempsey (Mr Inues) v. Ernest Wagstaff (Mr Cooper), claim 12s yd, monies due. Charles L. Mandl (Mr Hoggard) v. V/. Kerr-Hislop (Mr Cooper), claim £SOO, for alleged slander. Palmerston North Borough Council (Mr Cooke) v. Palmerston North-Kairanga River Board (Mr Cooper), tor /571 14s 6d, claim for timber.
