HOSPITAL SHIP FUND.
BALANCE SHEET ISSUED. Wkliungton, Feb. ix. The balance sheet of the Hospi-« tal Ship Fund was issued to-day by the Department of Internal Affairs at the direction of the Governor. It shows that the total amount subscribed by the public for the equipment of the two hospital ships, the Maheno and Marama was ,£60,766 7s 2d. The balance still in hand amounts to ,£14,881 19s id.
