Every moment of this episode is interesting and the daring exploits and hairbreadth escapes are naturally portrayed. The supporting items Include scenic, topical, dramatic and comedy films, which will be repeated to-night. FRIDAY AND SATURDAY. The change of programme for Friday is headed by a Vitagraph Company’s production entitled, “The Silent Plea.” The story is of a young widow who is left penniless. Her children are placed in an orphanage, but they are becoming incorrigibles. Every scene is full of charm and pathos, the end having a delightful thrill all its own. Other items of interest are : “When Charlie was a Child,” farce; “A Lily in Bohemia,” drama ; “Ham at the Beach,” comic; “The Soul of a Vase,” drama; “Australian Gazette.” In addition to the above programme on Saturday, there will be a special film featuring the favourite film artists, Charles Chaplin and Mabel Norman, entitled, “Mabel’s Married Life.”
