THE CLAN MACTAVISH.
The steamer Clan MacTavish, which was sunk by a German raider, loaded iu Waitara roadstead at the beginning of last October, and left New Zealand three weeks later. Admiral Sir John Jellicoe, Commander ot the British Grand Fleet, iu astelegram to the owners, says :■ —“ The magnificent fight shown by the Clan MacTavish fills the Grand Fleet with admiration.”
