WEDDING.

At the Shannon Presbyterian Church on Monday morning, Miss Knid Butt, third daughter of Mr H. Butt, was married to Mr Lionel Buckman, eldest son of Mr R. Buckman. The Rev Mr Bredin, of Foxton, performed the ceremony. The bride was attired in a beautiful dress of white voile with bridal veil and wreath of orange blossoms. She was attended by her sister, Miss Annie Butt, as bridesmaid, attired in a handsome costume of pale blue with hat to match. The wedding breakfast was laid at Mrs Lambert’s, where about thirty guests partook and wished the young couple much happiness. They went to Wellington in the alternoon, the bride’s travelling dress was navy blue.
