Walker advertises 150 of his purebred white Leghorn hens for sale at 2s each. These birds must be sold by the end of February to make room for young stock. J. M. Kelly inserts a change advertisement in this issue in which is set forth a list of special cash prices for groceries, including jams, flour, sugar, and tea. Boys’ Wear is the subject of Stiles and Matheson’s change advertisement in this issue. The steady increase of prices for all such goods makes early buying imperative. and parents should take this opportunity of purchasing at bargain prices.
