Another magnificent programme has been arranged featuring a beautiful love drama, full of thrills and tenderness, containing a blood quickening story, “The Living Death.” Here is a powerful story of a man who was so selfishly in love with his daughter, and who thought that she must be kept, unsullied by the world, that he takes her to a beautiful but lonely place, where he can be reasonably sure that she will meet no one who can win her affection. One day the inevitable happens. His daughter meets a young tnau and falls desperately in love with him. The doctor uses his scientific knowledge to try and prevent the impending marriage. The manner in which he is frustrated makes a charming story with many stirring episodes.
