Other meritorious items are: “From Forest to Mill,” educational ; “Mother of Pearl,” drama; “Dishing the Dardanelles,” cartoons ; “A Strand of Blonde Hair,” comedy ; “Lolta Coin’s Ghost,” farce. WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY. Another magnificent programme has been arranged featuring a beautiful love drama, full of thrills and tenderness, containing a blood quickening story, “The Living Death.” Here is a powerful story of a man who was so selfishly in love with his daughter, and who thought that she must be kept, unsullied by the world, that he takes her to a beautiful but lonely place, where he can be reasonably sure that she will meet no one who can win her affection. One day the inevitable happens. His daughter meets a young tnau and falls desperately in love with him. The doctor uses his scientific knowledge to try and prevent the impending marriage. The manner in which he is frustrated makes a charming story with many stirring episodes. Supporting this star are' the following :“Gussle Tied to Trouble,” comic; “Pathe Gazette”; “His Phantom Sweetheart,” comedy ■ “The Human Chain,” drama ; “Gasoline Gus,” comic; “The Life of a Swedish Laplander,” interest.
