FULLER’S PICTURES.
The current programme at Fullers’ includes a special feature of exceptional merit entitled ”19x4,” a strikingly dramatic story of a Scotch regiment, written by the celebrated English novelist, “Rita,” and depicting scenes in the present-day cataclysm. The supporting items include a powerful dramatic story by the Vitagraph Company, “The Mystery of Brayton Court,” a typical Keystone comedy, “That Springtime Feeling,” and other good films. WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY. A special feature of to-morrow’s change of programme is “The Dion’s Cubs,” a stirring patriotic drama in two parts, exposing the German spy system. Karl Kampf, of the German Secret Service, is instructed to steal from two French generals in London copies of despatches containing the Allies’ plan of campaign. The Frenchmen take a train journey. Kampf travels by the same train, as also does Edwards, of Scotland Yard, who is on his track. Kampf secures the papers by stupefying the Frenchmen with gas, and throws the papers out of the window. Schoeberg, an accomplice, secures them, but is suspected by Billy, a Boy Scout, Billy subsequently secures the papers, but the loss is discovered, and the spies start in pursuit. The story is excitingly concluded with the capture by the Scouts of Kampf and Schoeberg as they are on the point of escaping in an aeroplane. The supporting items are: “The Cradle of the Australian Navy,” “The Refugee” (drama), “Italian Marble Quarries,” “Latest Gaumont Graphic” and “The Professional Scapegoat” (Vitagraph comedy).
