THE HEMP MARKET.
HIGH COMMISSIONER’S REPORT. The High Commissioner cabled yesterday at noon as follows : The hemp market is very firm. The demand is greater than the supply of New Zealand hemp. Good fair 10s, fair £35 10s ; Manila £45, coarse £37. Janu-ary-March shipments: Good fair £37, fair £35 > Manila 10s, coarse xos. The output of Manila for the week was 16,000 bales.
