BOROUGH FINANCES.
The Borough Treasurer reported at Monday night Council meeting as follows ; I have the honour to report that the following amounts have been received since last meeting and placed to credit as under : To district fund account ,£339 6s 6d and to cemetery account £2. The credit balances as per B.N.Z. pass books are : District kind account ,£940 Ss 2d and cemetery account £6 is Bd. • The ledger balances are as under; Gas works loan I 4 S nd, sanitation 11s yd, reserves ,£l2B 18s 3d, Council Chamber and public library loan £B2 is 2d, gas works ,£64 6s id, town hall ,£49 17s rod, Whirokiuo bridge loau £33 9s 6d, roads and streets loan ,£25 3s 6d, library ,£l7 3s Bd, hospital and charitable aid £l6 17s id, roads aud streets No. 2 loan ,£l6 4s Bd, Shannon bridge loan Z>To 5s 58, Whirokino bridge additions loau £6 17s nd,- cemetery £b is Bd, contractors’ deposits ,£4 aud beach road loan £2 19s gd, a total of ,£lO4l 13s.
