FORD’S PEACE PARTY.
“THE SHIP OF FOOLS.” New York, Dec. 5. Henry Ford’s peace ship sailed amid shouts of ridicule and laughter. She was popularly renamed the “Ship of Fools.” The vessel carried 190, including 54 journalists aud 50 stenographers and secretaries, including Mr Ford’s own ten, aud .three kinematographers. The rooms on the steamer are profusedly decorated with peace emblems. Doves were scattered broadcast. Mr Ford, who was weary-looking, bad a final interview with Mr W. J. Bryan, who hurried from Florida to give his benediction. There was a disturbance as the vessel cast off, when some of the crowd cried “Gott strafe them.”
