CORRESPONDENCE.
(To the Editor.) Sir. —I read with interest your article.from Lloyd’s Weekly News re the question “Is it a Pbophecy ?” Here is a little detail of the 13th Chapter of Revelations, verse 4 and 5 : 4.' “ Then worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast.’’ Who are the “they”? All the Inhabitants of. the prophetic earth where Christianity was once pro fessed, but who now, because they will not receive the truth that they might be saved, are under strong delusion that they might believe a lie. Such is to be the final issue of modern cizillsation, progress in thought, art and science men will pay homage to Satan. It is not only that they will have cast off all fear of God from before their eyes, but they will enthrone Satan in His place. Now, all this takes place after the saints (all true believers in the Lord Jesus Christ in this dispensation) are taken up from the earth to Glory, and God owns no power on earth until He takes His own power in the person of the true King, the Lord Jesus Christ, on Mount Zion.

He cannot rid himself of God or of heaven, or of the heavenly saints, so in great rage he vents his wicked heart iu blasphemies. But He that sitleth in the heavens shall laugh ; the Lord shall have him in derision. He continues 42 mouths years). Man to-day won’t have God. Alas in that day they will have Satan aud worship him. In that day all trades and commerce will be governed by him, and all those who do not have his number, 666, will not be able to buy or sell. iS. Many have tried to unravel the mystery of this number, but all have been in vain. It will be impossible to discover the secret until he appears. When he does come those who then have wisdom given them of God will be able to
identity him by the number given. Aud let it not be forgotten that there are many men abroad to-day who, by their subtle reasonings upon the word of God, are fast preparing the minds of men lor the total rejection of all revealed truth, aud thus to accept the guidance of Satau iu place of the Holy Spirit of God.— I am, etc.,
