ALL SAINTS’ BAZAAR.

The bazaar, organised by All Saints’ Ladies Guild, and for which many have worked hard for some time, is now a thing of the past. It took place in the Town Hall on Tuesday. The hall was transformed, there being many stalls, which were beautifully decorated and which also contained many charming articles. It was a great success and the sum of over ,£IOO was made. The sheep-guessing competition, for a sheep kindly donated by Mrs C. H, Robinson, was a great success. The correct weight was 581bs, aud the winner was the Rev Mr Raine who guessed syAlbs. The stalls and their workers were as follows: Guild—Mesdames Jenks senr., Barber and Jenks junr.; Apron —MrsGreig and Miss Greig ; Camisoles Mesdames Raine and Preston ; Doll Miss Kent-Johnston ; Handkerchief — Mesdames J. Robinson and C. Robinson ; Girls’ Fancy Stall — Mrs Gower assisted by Misses Jenks, M. King, Price, Camberworth, Pearson (2) ; Baby-—Mes-dames Kellow, Healey, IT. Signal; Bag —Mrs F, Robinson and the Misses Robinson ; Cake Mesdames Harvey and Mandl and Miss Moxham ; Produce Mesdames Seabury and Admore ; Sweets and Ices —Mesdames Boyes, Aitken, aud Misses Hawke and K. Barber. The children were provided for by a fishing pond Irom which many mysterious “fishes” were drawn which gave infinite pleasure to the wee ones. Miss Burr and Miss Crowe were iu charge. The supper room was most tastefully arranged and many expressions ot delight were uttered, not only of admiration, but also of pleasure at the viands provided. Mesdames J. H. Robinson aud C. H. Symons assisted by Mesdames Gibbs, Newth and Proctor and very many “waitressess” were responsible for this part. Many competitions were arranged which caused much amusement even to the unsuccessful ones. Music was provided by Mr R. T. Betty’s orchestra.
