OUR BOYS AT ANZAC.
Wkujngton, Nov. 29. Colonel Rhodes, in a communication to Hon. James Allen from Alexandria, states that at Anzac Eord Kitchener gave him the following message from the King for transmission to New Zealand : “ His Majesty the King desires me to express his appreciation of the bravery displayed by the New Zealand troops at Gallipoli, and to say that he was proud of their achievements; that they had made a name for themselves in history, and their deeds would never be forgotten.” Colonel Rhodes states that be visited the New Zealand infantry in the trenches and the mounted at Bauchop's Hill. They were well and in good spirits, and were greatly improved by their rest at Lemnos. A message from Commander Hall Thompson, of the Philomel,* communicates that Eient. Fitzadam Millar has been awarded the Distinguished Service Cross for services ashore.
