Through a typographical error in our last issue in reference to the cabbage-guessing competition in connection with the recent spring show, the weight was given us u\ l /2 lb. The correct weight was Mrs Woodroofe being the winner. The receipts at the spring show were as follows ; Door £9 6s, tearoom £4 is, sweet stall £4 10s g}4d, sheep guessing £2, 7s, cabbage guessing 9s yd, buttonholes 5s 4d, sale of exhibits 18s 3d, total £22 18s The above is exclusive of entry fees and members subscriptions. The sale of tomato plants, donated by Mr H. Richmond, at the recent show on behalf of the Eadies Guild realised 8s 6d, and the model garden, donated by Mastei F. Procter, £l. Those who purchased the garden were the following: Messrs T. Henderson ss, G. Collins (Hastings) ss, Hoiticultural Society ss, J. Evans 2s 6d, T. Henderson 2s 6d.
