CHURCH SERVICES FOR SUNDAY.
The Salvation Army services will be 7 a.m., knee drill; n a.m., Holiness Meeting, 3 p.m., Praise Meeting ; 7 p.m. Salvation Meeting. The services at the local Presbyterian Church to-morrow will be conducted by the minister, Rev J, H. Bredin. The following are the services at All Saints’ Church to-morrow, Advent Sunday; 8 a.m. Holy Communion, n a.m. Litany and Holy Communion, 7 p.m. Evensong. There will be a service at Oroua Downs at 2.30 p.m. The Methodist Sunday School Anniversary will be continued tomorrow, when the children will repeat their anniversary hymns. The best anniversary for years was the verdict of many who heard the children on Sunday last. The services will be conducted by the Rev W. Rowe, who will speak to the children in the morning about “A Soldier,” and the evening subject will be ‘Ts it well with the child ?"
