BOWLING.
To morrow afternoon a tworink match will be played with the Shannon Club, one game to be played at Shannon and the other on the local green. The following teams will represent Foxton: At Shannon—D, Whibley, Woods, Nye and Hislop (s). At Foxton— F. Whibley, McColl, Petrie and Rimmer (s). The trophies won in the croquet competitions last year will be presented to the winners to-morrow alternoon by the President of the Club, Mr W. Petrie. All arrangements for the season’s competitions have now been made and a start with same will be made immediately. The following are the handicaps allotted : President's Trophy. (Kach player to play every other player.) Hislop scr., Rimmer 2, Nye 3, McColl 4, Woods 5, Ball 5, D. Whibley 5, Hore 6, Spring 6, Petrie 7, F. Whibley 7, Healey 8, Heasman 8, Admore 8, Mandl 9, Bryant 9, Barr to, Freeman 10, Gardes 10, Taltuell 14, Cronin 14, Tumsdeu 14. Mr Woods’ Trophy. (Open only to one and two yeais players, each player to play every other player.) Betty scr., Barr 2, Walker 2, Hooker 4, Rulfell 4, Targe 4, Robinson 5, Smith 6, Cronin 6, Tumsden 6, Tattnell 7, Parkes 8, Reay 9, Wright 10, Hudson 10, Pairs,' (For trophies presented by Mr Admore, nine rounds to be played).
