FULLER’S PICTURES

“THOU SHALT NOT KILL.”

A large audience thoroughly appreciated the new bill presented at the Town Hall last evening, and the star picture, “Thou Shalt Not Kill,” certainly deserves its reputation as one of the finest productions of modern cinematography. Mr Griffiths bus absorbed the whole spirit ot Edgar Allan Pne and reflected it in “Thou Shalt Not Kill.” Poe’s remarkable genius, his 1 ejection of customary forms, his crystalline imagery, the marvels of his power of contrast, are reproduced with marvellous fidelity on the screen. The supporting items to this great picture are of a very high standard.

FRIDAY & SATURDAY

The slat picture for Friday and Saturday is a gripping two-part drama by the Selig Company, “A Fight to the Death,” If is a study of primitive people and it is all very intense, very human and the end is arrived at in a surprising nanuer. There is also a very timely and interesting topical subject, “Our Wounded Heroes Back From the Dardanelles.” This film shows the steamer Willochra coming up to the Wellington harbour and other incidents in connection with the lauding. Other items are :—“Fatty’s Chance Acquaintance,” a bright, bristling and joyful Keystone comedy ; “Within the German Lines, No. 2,” another of the authorised films of the Kaiser, which has been smuggled through to the Allies; “In the Twilight,” a charming two part drama by the Flying A. Co.
