HIGH COMMISSIONER’S REPORT.
The High Commissioner cabled yesterday at noon as follows :
The hemp market is very quiet. There has been nothing doing during this week, but today business is apparently improving and the market is firmer. New Zealand good fair £33 10s, fair 10s; Manila, new graded fair, 10s. Forward shipment New Zealand good fair fair Manila for the.week was 15,000 bales.
