FULLER’S PICTURES
“THE INTRIGUERS.”
The current programme is headed by a magnificent Lubiu drama, “The Intriguers,'’ which deals with modern society of America, and affords a clear insight into the methods of society parasites in the fleecing of their prey. Supporting this interesting picture are the following films: A Keystone feature, “Gnssie the Golfer” ; The latest Topical Budget; a Kalem drama, “The Red Signal” ; a series of animated subjects, “The World Grabber” ; a real lively Vitagraph comedy, ‘‘Coney Island Nightmare” ; and an educational film, “The Wonders of Magnetism,”
WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY, The change of programme for Wednesday and Thursday includes a big laugh torpedo from the Keystone studios, “Ambrose’s Sour Grapes.” Chester Conklin, Mack Swain, Ed. Kennedy, and many others are outstanding joy-makers in this picture, and the briskness of the play is a great factor in its success. The Edison Company present a stirring poignant drama of middle-class life, “The Rainy Day,” in which is depicted the story of a young wife who sacrifices everything that her husband may keep up appearances in business. She stints and saves, and neglects her appearance, till her husband meets “the other woman.” Then his wife wakes up to the facts of life. The end is a happy one. There is included ; A charming Gauraont film, ‘‘Study in Flowers” ; an Edison drama, ‘‘The Stenographer” ; the latest European Gazette; a laughable Vitagraph item, “Eats.”
