BOWLING.
At a meeting of the committee of the local Bowling Club held yesterday afternoon, it was decided to officially open the green and croquet lawns on Wednesday next, at 2,30 o’clock. A few enthusiasts yesterday afternoon had a “roll up’' on the green, which is now open to members for practice. The Feildiug green was opened on Saturday, and Otaki and Palmerston greens yesterday afternoon.
