ENTERTAINMENTS.

FULLER’S PICTURES

“LONDON BY DAY AND

NIGHT.”

The patrous of Fuller’s Pictures were afforded an opportunity last night of witnessing a fine film depicting the sights of the great metropolis, a film 3,500 fesr in lenghth, entitled “London by Day and Night,’’ This film was specially taken to show the people of the Antipodes the sights of Greater Loudon, and this it does clearly and thoroughly. The supporting items of interest constitute a splendid programme, the whole of which will be repeated to-night. WEDNESDAY* THURSDAY. The programme for Wednesday and Thursday evening includes an absorbing story of a highprincipled woman and a bad man, “The Swindler,” a play that is full of interest from start to finish. The story, in brief, is : Bess marries Harris because he is wealthy. Tom, a lover, is broken hearted. Harris is an unscrupulous swindler, who makes his money by promoting bogus companies. One of his victims is Mrs Boylen, a widow, who invests all her money in a “radium mine.’’ What follows is vividly depicted, the end giving a great measure of pleasure to the audience. The comic element of the programme is well sustained by the Keystone Company, with “Fatty’’ Arbuckle and Mabel Norraand in “Fatty and Mabel at Ban Diego,” while the rest of this excellent programme includes a Topical Budget, a scenic of Hamburg Harbour, a clever Edison drama, educational and interest films, and a charming comedy, “Under False Colours.”
