The High Commissioner cabled yesterday at noon as follows :
The Manila market remains firm, especially for spot and near parcels. The demand is chiefly for soft fibre. New-graded fair, October-December, ,£3B 10s. The output for the week was 21,000 bales. The New Zealand market is quiet but firm. Dominion offerings are very small. OctoberDecember good fair fair For spot delivery ten shillings more per ton is offered. Tow : October - December shipment, second grade ,£2O, third grade
