FOXTON LADIES GUILD.

HOSPITAL SHIP
The local Ladies Guild have decided to equip six beds in the second N /,, Hospital Ship. This is a larger undertaking Ilian was at first anticipated, and as compared with the equipment for sis beds provided by the guild for the first ship, and to carry it out will strain the financial resources ni the guild. Financial assistance on behalf of the guild is therefore solicited. The articles required for each of the six beds are as follows : Four pillows, six sheets, four draw sheets, six pillow slips, two quilts made of Bolton sheeting with Turkey red borders, four bath towels, 10 face towels, six pairs pyjamas, two bed jackets, two day shirts, four under-vests, four pairs bed socks, two pairs slippers, two pairs day socks, four facecloths, 12 handkerchiefs, two flannel underpants, two dressing gowns, two flannel waistcoats, two mu fliers and bandages of all kinds. It will be seen, when the above is multiplied by six, that the Guild has undertaken a big task and a fair sum is Accessary to purchase the materials required, and it is hoped that the public will render what financial assistance it can. Contributions forwarded to the president. Mrs James Robinson, or the joint secretaries, Mrs R. Moore or Miss J. Ross, will be thankfully received.
