FULLER'S PICTURES. Fuller’s Pictures are again to the front with what is undoubtedly the finest war topical yet screened in New Zealand. “The Bombardment of the Dardanelles” is a genuine picture, photographed at the time of this historic event, and shows clearly the British and French warships engaging the shore batteries with their i33ium. guns. Included in this picture are the following items of thrilling interest: Admiral Gnepratte, in command of the Allied Fleets, examining the enemy’s position ; the Jauregueberry, the flagship ; the Allied camp at Moudros ; Flight-Lleut, Bartheleray de Lezlea, decorated with the Legion of Honour by Admiral Guepratte whilst under fire; the forts of Totts, now held by the French ; scouting for submarines in a steam launch; H.M.S. Goliath (this battleship was sunk shortly after by a torpedo) ; H.M.S. Canopus firing her heavy guns ; the French cruiser Sulfren passing the flagship ; H.M.S. Agamemnon bombarding a flying battery on the coast of Asia; 113 mm. guns in action; a transport struck by a shell. MONDAY & TUESDAY. The outstanding feature of Monday’s change of programme is undoubtedly one of the best Keystone films featuring Charlie Chaplin, that has ever visited New Zealand and “Dough and Dynamite” is the class of comedy in which Charlie excels himself. Other items are: “The Hop Smugglers,” a thrilling drama by the XfUblu Co. ; and “Maria’s Sacrifice,” a story of deep emotion and intense interest. The supporting items consist of scenic, comic, dramatic and topical items end up a really fine programme.
