FULLER’S PICTURES.
THE BOMBARDMENT OF THE DARDANELLES’ Fuller’s Pictures are again to the front with what is undoubtedly the finest war topical yet screened in New Zealand. The Bombardment of the Dardanelles is a genuine picture, photographed at the time of this historic event, and shows clearly the British and French warships engaging the shore batteries with their 133 mm. guns. This is certainly the most remarkable picture of an actual happening ever filmed, and the management is to be congratulated on securing such an attraction immediately alter showing in Wellington. Included in this picture are the following items of thrilling interest Admiral Guepratte, in command of the Allied Fleets, examining the enemy’s position ; the “Jauregueberry,” the flagship ; the Allied camp at Moudros; Flight-Lieut. Barthe!emy de Lezlen, decorated with the Legion of Honour by Admiral Guepratte whilst under fire; the forts of Totts, now held by the French ; scouting for submarines in a steam launch; H.M.S. Goliath (this battleship was sunk shortly after by a torpedo) ; H.M.S. Canopus, firing her heavy gnus : the French cruiser Suffren passing the flagship ; English sig- . nailers ate placed on the French I battleships to ensure messages 1 being correctly transmitted ; , H.M.S. Agamemnon bombarding a dying battery on the coast of Asia: 113 mm. guns in action; a transport, struck by a shell, heels over ; funeral of a French soldier who was killed by a wounded Turk, whom he was trying to help; a convoy of Turkls h rrisor.cts.
