SHORT-WEIGHT BREAD.
government WILL TAKE ACTION. The Minister for Internal Affairs (The Hon. G. W. Russell) reported yesterday thati the Government proposed to take measures to protect the public against the sale ot short-weight bread. Many complaints have been received under that head, especially since the rise in the cost of living brought about by the war.
