The following seventeen nominations have been received by the secretary of the local racing club for the positions of nine stewards to act for the ensuing year : A. F. Admore, Robt. Bryant, John Burr, G. C. Coley, F. S. Faston, I*. R. Freeman, K. H. Furrie, F. W. Gardes, H. G. Hammond, Chas. Hunt, Percy Lumsden, Dr. C. !<• Mandl, William Hooker, T. Henderson, H. S. Thynne, Chas, Simmons, A. D. Scott. The election will be held at the annual meeting which will be duly advertised.
