FOXTON LADIES’ GUILD.
The above Guild, in answer to an urgent appeal from the Wellington Ladies’ Military Committee last week, decided to provide equipment for six beds in the Trentham military hospital within a week. The Guild set themselves a strenuous task, but they accomplished it withiu the week, and yesterday forwarded the following goods 24 sheets, 24 pillow cases, 12 draw sheets, 11 quilts, 12 pyjamas, 12 nightshirts, 6 day-shirts, 36 handkerchiefs, rS towels, 6 slippers, 6 bed socks, 6 day socks, 12 feeders,' 6 face cloths, 6 bags, 6 bed jackets.
