NATIONAL CABINET.

There has been very little talk in the lobbies recently regarding the coalition question. At the conclusion of the caucus of the Government party on Thursday night, the Prime Minister stated that the caucus had authorised him to continue the negotiations for a National Cabinet with the Reader of the Opposition. Mr Massey stated that he promised that no definite arrangement would be made without his party being again consulted.
