FUELER’S PICTURES. The popular picture theatre was well patronised last night, and the progrnmme was of an exceptionally high standard, featuring as a special item, “Captain Alvarez. Supporting items to this great “star” are: “A Corner in Hats," comedy and “The Latest Topical Gazelle.’’ FRIDAY & SATURDAY. Picture patrons are reminded o£ the continuation of the world’s wonder serial, SePg production, third part of “The Adventures of Kathlyn.’’ Atler the American engineer blew up the Amphitheatre with his land mine, saving Kathlyn from the lions, he dragged her to a secluded spot, where Rambai and Pnndita were waiting with elephants. Then follows a flight through! the jungle. Kathlyn’s elephant runs away, and is soon lost in the recesses of the forest. Finally the weary elephant halts at the gate of a city, and Kathlyn finds herself a stranger captive. Kathlyn has passed safely through many dangers, but not in her wildest moments has she imagined the fearful adventures that overtake her in her new surroundings ; her life is hanging by a thread. Without question this series of adventures that Kathlyn is now being forced into are almost breath-stopping in intensity. With a splendid selection of supporting items.

ROYAL PICTURES. There will be a complete change of programme at the Royal to* night In which the special feature, “The Passions of Men,” will occupy pride of place, To-morrow night another change of programme will take place, the star film of which is, “Staircase of Death.” On Saturday in addition to the ordinary lull programme another series of that great serial, “Trey o’ Hearts,” will be screened.”
