ENTERTAINMENTS.

FULLER’S PICTURES,

WHAT ENGLAND HAS TO FACE A picture of an intensely interesting nature made its first appearance at the Town Hall last night and was responsible for a full house. The picture was followed with intense interest and the applause was often long and pronounced, this picture alone is well worth the price of admission. Another picture of exceptional merit is, “The Other Train,” this drama portrays faithfully the life of a girl who renounced love and home for the precarious profession, the lure of which was great and the rewards scanty. Supporting items of interest are : “Making Straw Hats,” “Flora and Zephyrs” (nature). “The Sponge Industry,” and a ■. ...:g Keystone, “A Gentleman of Nerve,” featuring Chaplin and Mabel Normand.

SATURDAY ONE NIGHT ONLY.

The second instalment of [the world’s wonder series of “The Adventures of Kathleen” will be screened, which holds the title of “The Two Ordeals.” Kathleen, having been forced to occupy an unwelcome throne, resists marriage to Umballah, the Hindoo, and suggests that the ceremony be postponed a week. The week soon passes, and Kathleen must submit to two ordeals with wild animals. The great day comes. The hungry lions are shown in their dens, and Kathleen is led into the arena. The famished lions rush in, where Kathleen in her robes is a shining mark. Just imagine what happens, and see if your mind is in tune with the producer’s.
