Owners and trainers are reminded that nominations for all events at the Manawatu Hunt Steeplechase Meeting on July 21st, close on Saturday, July 3rd, at 10 p.m. There will be great joy amongst bargain hunters to day from the announcement which we make regarding the business of W. F. Durward and Co., Ltd., Palmerston North. All this week the premises are to be closed and will be opened on Saturday, July 3rd, by The Premier Drapery Company Ltd., of which Mr James Wallace has been appointed manager. Mr Wallace has been for nearly ten years manager with Messrs C. M. Ross and Co., of Palmerston N,, and is wtli known to many of our readers. Ladies should make a note of the opening day and be ihere early. The sale begins at 10 a.m. so that the country customers will have equal advantages.
