NOTICE is hereby given that this Board intends at a meeting to be held on Thursday, 24th June, to make and levy under the provisions of the “Land Drainage Act, 1908,” “The Rating Act, 1908,” “The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1908,” and any amendments thereto. A general rate of eleven-sixteenth of a penny in the £ upon the rateable (capital) value of all properties appearing in the Valuation Roll of the Moutoa Drainage District and to authorise the collection of one halfpenny in the £, being part of Special Rate levied on the rateable (capital) value of all properties in the Special Rating Area of the said district. Such rate to be tor the period commencing Ist April, 1915, and ending 31st March, 1916, and to be due and payable in one sum at the office of the Board on the lOth day of July, 1915.
