FULLER’S PICTURES. “TESS OF THE STORM COUNTRY.” There was a record attendance at the Town Hall last uight to witness the initial screening of “Tess of the Storm Country.” Tessibel Skinner, a wild, motherless little elf, lives with her father in a rude hut ou the shores of Cayuga Lake. The vicinity is called ‘‘the storm country.” Tess adores her uncouth father, who lives by poaching and illegal netting of fish. One day he is found near the body of a murdered gamekeeper, and accused of the murder, and convicted on circumstantial evidence. Tess is frantic with grief, but Frederick Graves and his sister, Teola, befriend Tess. Frederick tells her of Gcd. Professor Young secures a new trial for her father, Teola Graves is betrothed to Dan Jordan, who perishes in a nre and leaves Teola w::se rhan a widow. She persists in her sacrifice tor Teola and her faith in God. But Teola, roused by her father's denunciation c: Tess, can remain silent no longer, and in the presence of the big assemblage, takes her baby in her arms and claims it as her own. Tess, forgiving all, goes to Frederick’s wailing arms. Her father is liberated, and Tess finds the reward of her faith in a great love and happiness. A special feature of the programme is the musical accompaniment by Mr and Mrs Lumly. Supporting pictures are topical budget and ” Midsummer Love Tangle.” WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY. The Vilagraph Company presents a grim and powerful war drama, an epitome of valour and love. “ Warfare in the Skies,” It is a drama that will make glad the heart of the realist, but at the same time the romantic elements are so woven that the sentimentalist is thrilled with emotion. During a- race to obtain reinforcement, two gigantic aeroplanes meet in mortal combat. Also a good selection of scenic, dramatic and comic items. Twenty minutes of screaming, side-split-ting fmi.—A Keystone Chaplin Feature ‘‘The Masquerader.” ROYAL PICTURES. ‘‘Lord Kitchener’s Army” can be seen at the Royal to-night. It Is a great picture showing the King and Queen inspecting 500,000 recruits. To-uight is the last chance of seeing this interesting picture. Another film of great interest at the present time is that depicting the ‘‘Fight for the Wood in the Argonue.” “The Smouldering Spark,” and ‘‘A Ride for a Bride” Keystone comic, make up a good programme. To-morrow night the star attraction is “The Mystery of St. Martin’s Bridge,” a story of exceptional Interest, the film being over 5000 ft. in length. Don’t forget the second series of “The Trey 0’ Hearts,” ou Saturday night.
