HOCKEY.
A five-a-side tournament was held at Levin on Wednesday, at which Foxton was represented by two teams, as follows: —A team —S. Bryant (capt,), Baughen, V. and H. Robinson, and Furrie ; B team —Woodroofe (capt.), N. Bryant, Hamer, C. Robinson, and Read. Although both teams met defeat in the first round, they put up really good games, the margin being only one goal in each case. Foxton A was defeated by Otaki College, and Otaki B accounted for Foxton B.
