BELGIAN RELIEF FUND.
As the Mayor (Mr A. Fraser) has now made arrangements for a subscription list in aid of the Belgians to be opened at the Town Clerk’s office and also to forward the donations received each month to the Under-Secretary for Internal Affairs, the late Mayor’s (Mr Stiles) list has now been closed. Previous to Mr Stiles opening his list a sum of l6s 9 d had been seut from Foxton, which with the amount on the list just closed, 14s 6d, makes Foxton’s total to date ,£578 ns 3d. In future donations are to be left at the Town Clerk’s Office. The following are the details of Mr Stiles’ list: — £ s d Miss Duncan 500 Presbyterian S.S. 250 Mrs Hughes 10 o E. P.
