HELP ! HELP ! HELP ! HELP!
The starving, clothesless, homeless, the Belgian widows and orphans. t . What are we going to do for those who have LOST ALL except bare life (and thousands of them have lost even that) in order to be true to their treaty with Britain and France. Try to realise that there are millions ot Belgians at the present time without HOMES, FOOD or CLOTHING, except what is given by the British Nation, France and Holland. Will VOL make a small monthly payment to the Town Clerk’s Office to help to keep life in those who sacrificed everything for us. Let all give what they can. No sum will be refused because it is too small ; even the pennies of the school children will be gladly received, and surely we can all give something; it is only once a month, and we shall never miss it. REMEMBER that all sums paid through the Town Clerks Office wi 1 ' 1 subsidised by the Government to a like amount, and dais 3'our month!}' contribution will be doubled. ALF. FRASER. Mayor.
