ELECTION PETITION.
BAY OF ISLANDS SKAT. VERNON REED DISQUALIFIED. The Election Coutt in connection with the petition in reference to the Bay of Islands seat delivered its judgment this morning. The result is that Mr Vernon Reed, who was declared elected, has been disqualified for twelve months. This probably means that another election will be held but Mr Reed will not be eligible as a candidate.
