THE LUSITANIA TORPEDOED.
IN THE IRISH SEA. COLD-BLOODED PIRACY. FULFILMENT OF GERMAN THREAT. THE LINER BEACHED. PASSENGERS AND CREW SAVED. A cable message was received this morning stating that the Lusitania was torpedoed off the Irish Coast. She was currying ITUO passengers from New York to Liverpool. Later. Advice has been received from New York stating that the Lusitania has been beached and the passengers and crew saved.
