SUCCESSFUL READJUSTMENT OF GROUND. ENEMY REPULSED NEAR BEAUSEJOUR. High Commissioner report, Loudon, sth May, 12.35 a.m. Field-Marshal Sir John French reports the readjustment of the ground due to the unexpected use of asplyxiating gases by the enemy is now successfully completed, the new line running west of Zeonebeke.
Paris reports that in the Champagyne district near Beausejour three German successive attacks were repulsed with heavy losses.
