EASTER SATURDAY
The management two stupendous attractions at the iown Hall for the Easter holidays. The programme for Saturday', April 3rd, includes, “The Devil s Dansant,” a true heart touching drama of the gambling curse, a powerful story of a wilful and wayward wife. The humorous complement is well represented by the famous Keystone Company in “The New janitor.” featuring Charlie Chaplin, who is absolutely irresistible in this play ; he is the scream ol screams. Other items of Interest constitute a splendid programme. The usual matinee will be at 2.30 o’clock. EASTER MONDAY. “SIXTY YEARS A QUEEN.” With a thrill of British pride the management presents the most comprehensive achievement of klnematography. “Her court was pure, her life serene: God gave her peace, her land reposed, A thousand claims to reverence closed; In her as mother, wife and queen.” Nothing so wide, so comprehensive, so valuable from the educational and instructive view points, and so patriotic in character has ever been attempted—let alone achieved—for presentation to men, women and children of the British Empire. The eulogies passed upon this masterpiece by the greatest journals of England, Scotland and Ireland would fill_ a volume. Such unstinted praise has never been previously bestowed upon a motion picture. The whole of England was, so to speak, laid under contribution lor authentic records and every possible assistance was given by the various Imperial and State authorities in order that nothing should be omitted which would render the work absolutely reliable iu every detail. A stupendous pictorial history of the record reign of Britain’s illustrious sovereign. A wealth of knowledge visualised and imparted in form that will never fade.
