BOWLING.

The Palmerston Bowling Club is holding a tournament at Master, commencing on Good Friday and continuing on Saturday and Easter Monday. Entries for the links closed yesterday, between 20 and 30 teams being nominated. Foxton will be represented by one rink, comprised of F, Whibley, McColl, Nye and Rimmer (s). The pairs tournament will commence on Saturday afternoon, entries closing to-motrow. Foxlon will also be represented in this competition.

Yesterday afternoon on the local green Ball (re) 27 beat Preeman (12) 24 in the competition for the Witchell trophy.
