MURDER OF A CHINAMAN.
HARVEY CONFESSES. Weu.ingtok, Match 5. Charles Harvey, the seafaring man who was arrested at Feilding, and was on remand, appeared at the Magistrate’s Court charged with the murder of an old Chinese fruiterer on September 12. The police asked for a further remand, as Harvey had confessed to the crime, and the opportunity was desired of investigating some of his statements.
