OTAKI ELECTORAL DISTRICT.

TOLLING BOOTHS APPOINTED. The Legislative Act, 190 S, among other things, enacts that the Governor may from rime to time appoint, alter or abolish polling places lor each electoral district within the limits thereof. The Governor-iu-Council has abolished all existing polling places throughout the Dominion and has appointed fresh places which appear in last week’s Gazette. The places appointed for the Otaki electoral district will in future be as under: — The Courthouse, Otaki (ptincipal). The Council Chambers, Levin. The Hall, Te HOIO. The Hall, Waikauae. The Hall, Paraparaumu. The Hall, Mauakau, The Hall, Paekakariki. The Hall, Ohau. The Public School, Koputarua, The Hall, Shannon. The Public School, Moutoa. The Hall, Tokomatu. The Masonic Hall, Foxtou. The Public School, Rangiotu. The Public School, Taikorea. The School, Oroua Downs. It will be noticed that a number of small booths have been cut out, and rightly so, and in the larger centres halls instead of schools have been substituted.
