HORTICULTURAL SHOW.
The Horticultural Society’s Autumn Show will be held in Town Hall on Thursday Friday next. The entries so received indicate a very successful exhibition of fruit, flowers and vegetables, despite the dry season experienced throughout the district. Entries are filling well in the cookery, home industries and needlework classes. The public will be well catered for in other directions. The amusement committee are arranging a programme of events and Mr Betty’s orchestra will play at intervals during show nights. The refreshment room will be in charge of Mrs Henderson and Mrs Woods will supervise the sweets stall. Members of committee are requested to attend at the supperroom to-morrow afternoon at 2.30 o’clock to arrange tables, etc.
