i'hc bidding of u Zeppelin is no’ tho work of a day. mere work ou the vessels takes an entire year, ard when that work is done another truce mouths must be spent in testing. Stretched in a framework of girders there are from 17 to 25 balloonettes from end to end. Over these and over the girders is an outer skin of proofed canvas. Slung under the great length is a series of cabins. Right in front is the station of the look-on* man, who is in charge of the sanding od the landing ; be has anchors sluug beneath him. In the boat, which is entirely cove/ed in, two petrol engines. Behind tlis boat is the gangway, fitter* i-p wit 1 sleeping berths for the crow, la centre is the observation station. It is from here *hat the bombs are dropped, and it is in herr that the marvellous steering and ghuiig apparatus is installed, os wall as the wireless plant.
