The next match for the Dixon Cup will be played on the local green on Wednesday, March 3rd, the challengers being a rink from the Terrace End Club, skipped by Sollilt- Challenges have also been received from the following, and will be played in order as received :—Woodville (Nicholas or Nicholson), Dannevirke (Bartlett), Feilding (Saywell), and Palmerston (N. H. Nash). An attempt is to be made by a rink from the local club to wrest the Manson and Barr Cup from the present holders, the Trade rink (Palmerston), skipped by Dixon. The match will be played on Wednesday, March 3rd.
