BOWLING.
Yesterday afternoon the weather was splendid for bowling, and there was consequently a large number of players, no less than 24 members being in attendance. There was also a fair number of ladies present, both croquet greens being occupied. Afternoon tea was provided by Mesdaraes Moore and Kellow.
The following are the results of the competition games played Golder Cup. —Nye (9.) 33 beat Ball (12 ) 22, and McColl (yj 32 beat F. Whibley (11) 30.
Witchell Trophy,—D. Whibley (6) 30 beat Admore (12) 28 ; Hislop (scr.) 28 beat Gardes (u) 19, D. Whibley (6) 29 beat Hore (12) 28, Ball (123 30 beat D. Whibley (6) 22, Bryant (n) 40 beat Healey (12; 20, Dimmer (3) 37 beat Healey (12) 26, Freeman (12) 33 beat Bryant (uj 25, and McColl (9) 29 beat Woods (6) 20. Pairs.—F. Whibley and Barber (3; 23 beat Ilore and Spring (6 ) 20, and Gardes and Hislop (scr.) 20 beat Mandl and Harvey (4) 18.
