TYPHOID AT TAIHAPE.

Wanganui, Jan. 25

Typhoid fever is prevalent in the Taihape district. Recently three cases were reported to the local health authorities, and during the past few days five fresh cases have been notified. All the patients are Europeans. So far one death has occurred. It is believed the epedimic is spreading. The Health Department are taking active steps to localise the epidemic.
